Chain Golf

One hole a day. Every shot is simulated by Box2D, the C++ physics engine behind Angry Birds, running inside an Internet Computer canister on 13 computers. Your browser only draws what the chain computed, so nobody can fake a score.

Shots are paid from the same shared fuel tank as the chess. A shot is a few million instructions, about a thousandth of one chess move. Out of bounds costs a penalty stroke and puts the ball back. Each round has its own link: open it and press Recompute to watch the canister simulate every shot again and check it lands in exactly the same place.
